The Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County requires the services of a licensed Florida General Contractor, providing all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals for the construction of: Switchgear Replacement inside the Generator Building, associated electrical work, upgraded lighting system, a new fire alarm and SCADA monitoring system.  Also, installation of a proposed barrier wall and protective chain link fence.  General improvements to the generator building including a two (2) hour fire rated partition wall with a two (2) hour fire rated double door, replacement of existing louvers, installation of two (2) wall exhaust fans, installation of a new A/C unit, replacement of one (1) single metal door, installation of one (1) single metal door, and related work as shown on the plans and included in the specifications in the Invitation to Bid.

The work is located at the Palm Beach County Renewable Energy Park at 6329 N. Jog Road, West Palm Beach, FL. 33412.

Addendum No. 1 has been issued.
Revised Spec. Section 099123 - Interior Painting has been uploaded.
Recommendation of Award has been issued.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form of a surety company Bid Bond or certified check in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the total Bid. Failure to submit a Bid Bond or Certified Check with the bid submittal will render the Bid non-responsive or rejected.
Special Requirements:
A Non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 10:00am at 7501 North Jog Road, West Palm Beach, FL. 33412 open to Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and other interested parties, at which time the ENGINEER will be present to answer questions and explain the intent of the Bid Documents. Site visit will follow.
