The Authority's Equipment Maintenance Department is responsible for keeping the SWA fleet in great condition.

The Authority uses more than 60 tractors and 85 trailers to transport about 1,300,000 tons of waste per year from transfer stations throughout Palm Beach County to facilities at Renewable Energy Park in West Palm Beach. All of that equipment must be kept clean and repaired to ensure the safety of our drivers.
