[ARCHIVED] SWA’s July Household Hazardous Waste Tip

SWA HCRC July 2017

Summertime is prime for playing on the patio: grilling out, splashing in the pool, and sprucing up the landscaping.

Just keep in mind that pool chemicals, pesticides and propane tanks should not be placed in the garbage when they have outlived their useful lives. Palm Beach County residents may bring the 3Ps to any of the SWA’s Home Chemical and Recycling Centers listed below. The SWA will then recycle or dispose of each item properly.

Commercial disposal brings special guidelines. Call 561-687-1100 to learn more.

Remember, pollution prevention starts at home. Visit SWA.org/HCRC or call 561-697-2700 or 866-SWA-INFO (toll-free) to learn more about the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County’s Home Chemical and Recycling Centers.
