Normal waste and recycling collection in unincorporated Palm Beach County will resume on regularly scheduled collection days beginning Saturday, Oct. 8.
All SWA facilities will stay open until 5 p.m. Saturday. All SWA facilities will run extended hours Monday through Friday of next week, from 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
County residents are asked to keep their waste and debris piles separate:
- Put garbage and recyclables out on your regularly scheduled day,
- Put vegetation only in a second pile, and,
- Put all other storm debris in a third pile.
Be sure to keep these three piles separate and away from power lines, fire hydrants and mailboxes, to help speed our recovery.
