North County Transfer Station located in Jupiter will be closed for scheduled repairs beginning Monday, Aug. 12 through Saturday, Aug. 17.
The Home Chemical and Recycling Center will be closed during this times, but home hazards may be dropped off at any other HCRC.
Waste hauling companies and municipalities should take all recycling to the Recovered Materials Processing Facility located at 5860 45th Street and garbage to either Renewable Energy Facilities located on North Jog Road during this closure. Palm Beach County residents may bring garbage to any other SWA disposal facility.
Please be advised that Personal Protection Equipment, hard hats and safety vests, are required to enter these facilities. Normal hours of operation will resume on Monday, Aug. 19.
