More than 200 extremely talented artists of all ages illustrated their artistic skill and recycling know-how by entering the coloring contest from the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County.
Experienced professionals selected a winner and runner-up in each age category, and SWA staff voted to select the SWA Staff Favorites as well as the grand prize winner. The judging was based on creativity, originality, artistic skill, and interpretation and the clarity of the theme. Winning artwork is online at SWA.org/Coloring.
Prizes have been generously furnished by the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County, its contest partners WFLX-TV FOX29 and Legoland Florida, as well as Chick-fil-A Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, ESPN West Palm Beach, Florida Atlantic Sports Properties, Guy Harvey, Lion Country Safari, the Palm Beach Zoo, and Loggerhead Marinelife Center.
